Saturday's workshop "BRAND New You: Designing Your Online Identity" was a huge success. TABJ has received exemplary feedback from the three guest speakers and nearly 30 attendees. TABJ thanks NABJ for the $250 grant to pay for this workshop,  Chick-fil-A for donating our lunch and N.C. A&T State University and Dr. Gail Wiggins for allowing us to use Crosby Hall. We also extend our gratitude to our speakers: 

• Ross Wade, Assistant Director of Career Services for Elon University's School of Communications;
• Natalie P. McNeal, also known as "The Frugalista", frugal living expert and blogger; and
• Danielle Hatfield, blogger, marketing strategist and Chief Dirt Digger at Experience Farm

We kept tabs on all of the helpful tips by using the hashtag #TABJBrandYou. Participants used their laptops, tablets and smartphones to light Twitter on fire. We made more than 300,000 impressions via Twitter, even reaching people outside of North Carolina.
