N.C. A&T will host two town hall programs in Crosby Hall in the television studio and Rooms 215 and 217.
- Program 1, with Butler and Charles, will determine how accurately the media have covered civil rights, human rights and race-related issues in 2013 (11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.)
- Program 2 will further examine crisis communication and the role of public relations professionals and media practitioners in high-profile civil rights and criminal cases involving race and ethnicity (12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.)
- A reception will honor veteran broadcast journalist and N.C. A&T professor Sandra Hughes (1:15 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
